Pescatorians and Pescadors

My buddy Ro visited from Cali!  We've been friends since 7th grade.  Prior to her visit, she asked me to paint an owl.  An all white owl.  Do you know how hard it is to paint white things?  Hehehe, I haven't painted in eons, so it was a challenge.
It was awesome to hang with Ro and meet Sam.  It was also cool to find out that they are Pescatorians (vegetarians, but they eat fish)... and what a coincidence:  Jeff and I are Pescadors!  (Pescador= Fisherman in Espanol... Pescatore= Fisherman in Italiano).  Needless to say, we took them to one of our favorite eateries, Down to Earth.  I think we might become Pescatorian Pescadors soon... we want to start eating healthier, starting this summer.

BYOT: Bring Your Own Tree

I am fortunate to work with some really awesome people!  Two of my co-workers threw me a mini breakfast party at the Kapolei Golf Course, and even decorated the table with this ridiculously huge, earthy centerpiece and created a sweet slideshow about my quirkiness.  Thanks to N & D for making the end of the school year a fun, memorable event!

More shots from Mia's last performance.  :) Look how grown up our lil sisters are now!  Yup, they make me feel O-L-D.

Waimea Wedding

Congrats to Alyson & Jason! They had a beautiful outdoor wedding on the North Shore. The scenery reminded me of Kauai. My fave part of the reception was when the couple led a band of their friends in singing "Home." So cool! We wish the newlyweds the very best.

... Or shall I say New-woman? Hehe, congrats to Bonnie & Devin who wed this past Saturday in a multi-lingual ceremony (English, Espanol, & ASL). Best wishes to the happy couple!

The Voice

Thanks to the Gadianos for hosting a fun evening of food, karaoke, & upbuilding association. It was a privilege to spend time with the Grants before they move on to their next assignment.

A Night of Culture

We enjoyed another night of refined music, thanks to Mia & her high school orchestra & symphony band.
